The problems and the pain that we experience in life can be overwhelming and sometimes we can feel stuck, often believing that there must be something wrong or broken inside of us. As your therapist, I am here as your trusted, empathetic, and non-judgemental guide, as we work together to develop new, empowering, and compassionate ways to understand yourself and the problems that you face, while allowing you to better connect with what matters most to you in life.
I bring over 10 years of combined clinical, academic, and professional development experience in the overlapping fields of clinical therapy, adult education, transformative justice, group facilitation, and client-centred social services. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from York University, a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education through Brock University, and I am a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist (OCSWSSW #840474). I have completed specialized professional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am truly excited to bring a mixture of evidence-based practices, as well as my own deep compassion and experience, to collaboratively help you find your own unique pathway of healing.
